Healing and Travel Protection with Archangel Raphael

  I recently read another book from Doreen Virtue called The Healing Miracles of Archangel Raphael.  It is an interesting book that gives specific details from people who have asked for and received healing intercessions from Archangel Raphael (and Michael as well).  Doreen does a great job of gradually walking the reader through the different ways to communicate with this all-loving and humorous angel.  Below are a few of the prayers she mentions in the book:

Ways to Communicate with Archangel Raphael
Think the prayer, Write the request, Say the words softly or in a loud voice, Say the prayer with reverence or with frustration, Say a supplication prayer, imploring Heaven to address your need (for example, “Please help me!”), Use an affirmative prayer, affirming that help is already given (for example, “Thank you for helping me”)

It’s not important how you ask for help, but only that you do ask for it. Here are important points to remember when requesting Archangel Raphael’s assistance: 

  • Ask for help, either aloud or silently. He can only help if you ask, because he won’t violate your free will.

  • Pour your heart out to Raphael, explaining your feelings.

  • Visualize emerald green healing light surrounding the health concern.

  • Notice and follow any Divine guidance that comes to you in terms of intuitive directions as to which action steps to take.

  • Keep asking for help until healing occurs.

Prayer to God and Archangel Raphael
  • Dear God and Archangel Raphael, I need a miracle now. Please heal my body completely and restore me to health. Please clearly guide my path of wellness, support me in all ways, and help me feel whole and healthy now.

Prayer to help others or yourself
  • Dear God and Archangel Raphael,  Please help [name of  Person] with [describe health concern]. Thank you for giving  us (me) all faith and hope, and helping us trust that everything is in Divine and perfect order. Thank you for clearly guiding us (me) if we (I) need to take human action steps for this healing.

Prayer for Health
  • Archangel Raphael, I ask you to come to me now and remove any energy restrictions or blockages so that I may enjoy health and wellness.

Fears that may be blocking healing
  • Dear God and Archangel Raphael, I want to want a healing. I now fully open my heart and mind to you, and ask that you release any known or unknown fears about being healthy. I fully desire with my free will to be open to receiving your healing miracles.

Divine Matrix: Bridging Time, Space, Miracles and Belief

I read Gregg Braden's book almost 2 years ago.  It is a fantastic book and I could not put it down once I started reading it. (The summarization below was paraphrased from a great post here.  I picked out the sections that really resonated with me.)
The Divine Matrix, as explained by Gregg Braden, is an intelligent Field of energy that western science has just come to understand. The most ancient traditions began with this understanding and spent 3,000 years devising the ways that it applies in our lives --sometimes called the Field. In 1944, Max Planck identified it as the Matrix. "All matter originates and exists by virtue of a Force. We must assume behind this force a conscious, intelligent Matrix." (The movie, The Matrix was based on some of this work by Max Planck....) Dr. Edgar Mitchell calls it Nature's Mind. Steven Hawking calls it The Mind of God. Lynn McTaggert calls it the Field.

This book by Gregg Braden, says that not only are we a part of this matrix, but we have the ability to communicate with this divine matrix in ways that seem miraculous in the Western world. He spent time in the monasteries in China, Egypt, Bolivia and Peru because they have maintained communication with this divine matrix. Gregg Braden assures us that this was part of our culture until the instructions were edited out of our Biblical text in the 4th Century. When he began studying the Dead Sea Scrolls, Braden found that we once had as part of our history the same teachings that he was only finding in these out-of-the-way places. Afterwards, their practices began to seem very strange to westerners. We called them primitive practices.

Finally, it is a container, a substrate that holds everything together. In this way, Gregg Braden explains, the divine matrix connects us all. The divine matrix is very literal. It will mirror back to us our beliefs and feelings about our relationships, our checkbook and our relation to our communities. The ancient texts encourage us to feel our feelings as if our prayers have already been answered. For example, if, Gregg Braden explains, we ask for healing for our loved ones, we are affirming the illness or distress. The way to do it correctly, is to act as if it has already happened and to feel the feelings of gratitude and appreciation.

Gregg Braden says that it is believed that the divine matrix was birthed simultaneously with the birth of our Universe. When our Universe had expanded to the size of a green pea, and was at about a billion, billion degrees, this divine matrix was carried with the expansion. Gregg Braden says that the divine matrix is a bridge between our inner experiences, feeling, emotion and belief and our outer worlds.

Gregg Braden explains that we got the Reader's Digest condensed version of the Bible. "Ask and ye shall receive." What Jesus actually says is "Be surrounded or enveloped by your desire so that your joy can be full." -- Be this way as if these things have already happened.

The self empowering books in the Bible were the ones taken out in the 4th century at the Nicean Council. The power of human emotions to rearrange the atoms and to interrupt the flow of time and space, this was in the descriptions of the books taken out of our traditions, although this was never taken out of other traditions, such as Native American and those living in Peru and in the Andes.

In our Book of Genesis, there is one line on the creation of the human being. In the original, there were many pages; our souls were created separate from our bodies. The original body could not contain the light and power of the soul and had to be redesigned. The original intent was to share the wisdom.
The intent of the council was political. In the letters of some of the Bishops, they questioned this editing and deletion.

In the Gospel of Thomas, now in Egypt, Jesus is telling us about prayer. It is a language that communicates with this intelligence he calls the Father. If you want health or wealth, "be" surrounded and enveloped by these things so your feeling can be completed.

It is an unbiased matrix, Gregg Braden reiterates, that mirrors back to us what we create in our lives. Our thoughts imagine what we would like. Our hearts breathe life into this when powered by our feelings. This has been discouraged by males in our society. Could this be part of the reason the Nicean Council deleted these sections from the Bible?
I highly recommend reading this insightful book.

Quantum Enigma - Our Physical Reality and Consciousness

Last summer, I read a booked called Quantum Enigma: Physics Encounters Consciousness.  I am not a physicist and don't pretend to be one. But I was recommended this book by a co-worker and found it on kindle and read it from my phone while traveling to and from work.  It is not the easiest book to read and I skimmed through most of it.  However, the material is presented in such a way as to make a very esoteric and complex topic "easy" to understand and read.

At a very high level, the intent of this book is to show you that you are creating your physical reality using your consciousness... Think about that for a minute.  Your thoughts control your life and your reality.  It is kind of scary and exciting at the same time.  Just by observing something you make it a reality!  Here is a great excerpt from the book the helps to summarize it:
With the advent of quantum mechanics, physics found that observation created a physical reality. By freely choosing a different observation, you could have created a physical reality inconsistent with the one you actually chose to create. (And therefore a different history!)  Though, because of randomness and the complexity of big things, you can’t bring about just the future you want—as purveyors of pseudo-science imply. Quantum mechanics reveals a mysterious encounter of “free choice,” conscious free will, with the physical world. Does this impact your world-view? It sure does impact mine.
What this book is basically saying is that brightest minds of our time (Max Planck, Niels Bohr, Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein, and Erwin Schrodinger) have proven quantum mechanics theories but have struggled with consciousness and how it affects it.

If you combine what is understood from reading this book along with Gregg Braden's The Divine Matrix: Bridging Time, Space, Miracles, and Belief, you may soon begin to realize that the earth we live in is just a unified holographic image in which we are all experiencing our given reality.  This is a pretty difficult pill to swallow but as you dig deeper, you will begin to understand this three-dimensional plane that we are currently living in and why we are here.  We chose this point in time to live, work through and learn from the experiences of this particular lifetime for the benefit of our soul's evolution.  (In my previous post on the book Reincarnation: Many Lives Many Masters, I touched a little bit on how we have lived through many lifetimes.)

What all this means is that more than ever, it is imperitive and extremely important to only think, speak, write and feel in a positive, loving and peaceful way.  YOU ARE LITERALLY WHAT YOU THINK AND BELIEVE!!

I hope this isn't too confusing...it is difficult to simplify such a complex topic in a few paragraphs.

You Can Heal Your Life & The Hidden Messages in Water

Louise Hay is the owner of Hay House publishing.  She has written an amazing book called You Can Heal Your Life.  The book describes how through forgiveness of others and oneself, you can heal any dis-ease within your body.  Her book is full of great passages that are full of empowering and positive affirmations related to all areas of your life.  In the beginning of her book, she lists her main philosophical points which are very enlightening:
  • We are each responsible for all of our experiences
  • Every thought we think is creating our future
  • The point of power is always in the present moment
  • Everyone suffers from self-hatred and guilt
  • We create every so-called illness in our body
  • Releasing resentment will disolve even cancer
  • We must release the past and forgive everyone
  • When we really love ourselves, everything in our life works
The most interesting part of the book however is a list of dis-eases, their cause and a new thought pattern to help heal the disease.  Here are few specific dis-eases from the list:
  • Addictions
    • Cause - Running from the self. Fear. Not knowing how to love the self.
    • New Thought - I now discover how wonderful I am. I choose to love and enjoy myself.
  • Anxiety
    • Cause - Not trusting the flow and the process of life.
    • New Thought - I love and approve of myself and I trust the process of life. I am safe.
  • Lower Back Problems
    • Cause - Fear of money. Lack of financial support.
    • New Thought - I trust the process of life. All I need is always taken care of. I am safe.
  • Baldness
    • Cause - Fear. Tension. Trying to control everything. Not trusting the process of life.
    • New Thought - I am safe. I love and approve of myself. I trust life.
  • High Blood Pressure
    • Cause - Long standing emotional problem not solved.
    • New Thought - I joyously release the past.  I am at peace.
  • Cholesterol
    • Cause - Clogging the channels of joy.  Fear of accepting joy.
    • New Thought - I choose to love life.  My channels of joy are wide open.  It is safe to receive.
  • Nearsighted
    • Cause - Fear of the future.
    • New Thought - I accept Divine guidance and am always safe.
  • Fatigue
    • Cause - Resistance, boredom.  Lack of love for what one does.
    • New Thought - I am enthusiastic about life and filled with energy and enthusiasm.
  • Gout (My father battles gout regularly and this is him spot on...)
    • Cause - The need to dominate. Impatience, anger.
    • New Thought - I am safe and secure.  I am at peace with myself and with others.
These are just a few of the new thought patterns and related diseases they help to heal.  I hope you enjoy the book.

The reason I included this link is that since our bodies are made up of 70 percent water and thoughts affect water, you can draw the conclusion that Louise Hay's book makes perfect sense.  It is showing how negative thoughts cause dis-ease and can be cured by changing those negative thought patterns.

Many Lives Many Masters and Reincarnation

A friend of mine gave me a book called "Many Lives Many Masters" by Brian L. Weiss.  It is a fascinating book about his experiences as a psychiatrist with a specific patient and how he helped her using hypnosis. 

Before reading this book, I had never really given much thought to reincarnation.  However, after reading this book I realized that we are on a spiritual journey that has involved many lifetimes.  In these lifetimes, we are working on our spiritual evolution so that we may someday achieve enlightenment or ascension. 

In this book, Dr. Weiss, who was chief of psychiatry at a Miami hospital at the time, began to see a patient for severe depression and anxiety.  For 18 months he tried conventional therapies without much success.  Then he decided to try hypnosis and during these trance induced states she started recalling "past-life" memories.  She also acted as a conduit for "Ascended Masters" who revealed much about the secrets of life and death.  After just a few months of this hypnosis therapy, she was symptom free and happier than ever.

This book is an easy read and was hard to put down once I started reading it.  Enjoy.

Achieve Deep Meditative States through Sounds

Over the last 6-9 months, I have been using a series of CD's produced by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson that assist me in achieving deep meditative and relaxing states of consciousness.  Before that, I was having difficulty calming my mind during meditation and started researching ways to induce relaxation and a calmer meditative experience.

Dr. Thompson's CD's are available on Amazon and on his website "Center for NeuroAcoustic Research".  He has a wide variety of music/sounds available that help to entrain your brainwaves into states that are achieved by yogi masters, shaman and Buddhist monks.  Here is a quote from his website on the research he as done in this focus area:

Dorreen Virtue is an amazing individual.  Here is her bio from her website:
